L'Shana Tovah!

May You be a shield about us, protecting us from hate and war, from pestilence and sorrow.  Curb within us the inclination to do evil, and shelter us beneath the shadow of Your wings.  Guard our coming and our going and grant us life and peace from this time forth and forevermore.

~ from the Rosh Hashana Liturgy

Thanks for that beautiful artwork and sentiment, Robin.  I've been looking for some inspiration for these holy days for a few days now and I think your post has helped me find it.

Love that picture also.

Put a Smile on your face and a song in your heart.

Wishing you health, happiness and laughter.

One of my bosses (who lives in Israel) actually taught me those words this morning, when I asked him to tell me in Hebrew how to wish him a good holiday.  I love learning about other religions and cultures.  It was dinner time there, and he was about to sit down with all of him family :-)
